Kings of Afro House is a brand new documentary about the genre of Afro House. Created by Angolan music platform Music Box, the film aims to make the Angolan and international Afro House scene known to the world. Kings of Afro House is a tribute to all the Angolan and international Djs that have contributed to the growth of Afro House in Angola and across the globe. It features a plethora of Angolan DJs, such as Djeff, the Alves Brothers, Wilson Kentura, Afro Pupo, DJ Satelite, as well as many international DJs, like Floyd Lavine and Enoo Napa from South Africa, Hyenah from Germany, Paso Doble from Canada and Moblack from Italy. The documentary offers a unique glimpse into each of these artists’ life, presenting Afro House as a sensory experience of sounds and perspectives with a powerful Angolan print. Originally, Kings of Afro House consisted of 10 short episodes, but for the online international premiere at Melkweg x Africadelic x ADE 2020 they have been merged into with one great music documentary.
